Rich Zins has worked in the Lolo office of TrailWest Bank since 1986. Rich began his banking career in 1980 with Northwestern National Bank, in Great Falls, MT as a delinquent loan collector. While in Great Falls, he also held the positions of Real Estate Loan Officer and Installment Loan Officer. In 1986, he joined Alan Bradley at Bitterroot Valley Bank, (now TrailWest Bank), when the bank was $11MM in total assets and had 15 employees. He was later elevated to Executive Vice President and finally was promoted to his current position of President and CEO. Rich also is on the bank’s Board of Directors and Holding Company Board. He is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School. He is a past president of the Lolo Lions, Grizzly Scholarship Association, and Local RMA chapter. Rich also completed a seven year term on the Community Hospital Board of Directors, its Finance Committee, and was a member of the Loyola Sacred Heart School Board, serving as its Finance Council Chairman. He has served on numerous other volunteer boards, as well.
